Hi, I'm Daniella Jaeger. I teach math at James Madison High School in Madison, Brooklyn, and hold an MfA Early Career teaching fellowship. Previously, I taught math and coding at Kurt Hahn Expeditionary Learning School in East Flatbush.

Before moving into education I was a product manager at Kickstarter, the world's largest funding platform for creative projects. There, I led internal tools product work -- all the behind-the-scenes functionality our admins used for project review, customer support, fraud, and legal. I also worked on user-facing features like creator resources, emails and newsletters, and community tools. Before joining the product team I led Kickstarter's customer support team and contributed to editorial, curation, and project review.

Back in the day I worked in editorial at a scientific nonprofit in Washington, DC, and as an ESL teacher in Seoul, South Korea.

I received a B.A. in English Cultural Studies with minors in Statistics and Italian Civilization from McGill University in Montreal. As part of the NYC Teaching Fellows program I earned an M.S.Ed. in Adolescent Education Mathematics 7-12 from St. John's University in New York City.
